Booking choice: The sunset dinner show cruise, from $119 per person. Check dates Compare the options below
Rhythms of the Night is sold in three tiers, Classic, VIP and Premier, by Vallarta Adventures and by resellers such as Viator. The headline price is only part of it: every guest also pays an access fee and a small port fee at check-in, and there is no hotel transport.
Prices below are from the live Viator listing and the operator's own site in 2026. They move with the season and with sales, so the checkout price is the one that counts.
The quick answer
The Classic ticket is from $119 per adult on Viator, with a child rate for ages 6 to 11. At check-in, add a $20 access fee per adult and a port fee of MX$40 in cash. VIP and Premier cost more and add better tables, seats and, on Premier, a chef's menu. The ticket cancels free up to 24 hours before.

How much is Rhythms of the Night in 2026?
On Viator the Classic experience is from $119 per adult; the operator lists Classic at $129, VIP at $169 and Premier at $229 before its frequent sales.
The Vallarta Adventures website regularly runs sale prices (Classic $90, VIP $118 and Premier $160 when we checked), so it is worth comparing on your dates. The Viator listing adds free cancellation up to 24 hours before and reviews from over 2,000 guests in one place.
| Tier | Official list price | What it adds |
|---|---|---|
| Classic | $129 (Viator from $119) | Sunset cruise, buffet dinner, open bar, ALMA show, standard seating |
| VIP | $169 | Live music at dinner, oceanfront tables, preferential boarding, VIP theatre section |
| Premier | $229 | Chef Paco Ruano's menu, champagne and wine pairings, artist meet-and-greet, best seats |

Check dates for the sunset dinner show cruiseWhat fees do you pay at check-in?
A $20 access fee per adult and a port fee of MX$40 per person in cash; the operator's site lists $10 for children.
Neither fee is in the ticket price, and both are collected at the terminal before boarding. Bring pesos for the port fee. Reviewers mention the fees as a surprise, so budget for them from the start.
What does the Classic ticket include?
The sunset cruise to Las Caletas and back, a candlelit buffet dinner with live music, an unlimited open bar, and the ALMA show with standard seating.
Hotel transport and tips are not included. Dinner is an international buffet served at tables among the trees; reviewers describe it as anywhere from basic to delicious, with salads, sides, several mains and desserts.

Is VIP or Premier worth the upgrade?
Yes if seats and food matter to you: VIP gets you first on the boat, oceanfront tables and a reserved theatre section, and Premier adds a chef's menu and the front rows.
One reviewer summed up Premier as "first to choose seats on boat, in the first 3 rows of the show and the dinner is amazing". If you are mainly there for the spectacle and the open bar, Classic is fine; arrive early to the amphitheatre for a good view.

Do children pay less?
Yes: children 6 to 11 pay a reduced rate, adults are 12 and over, and under-6s cannot attend.
The access fee is also lower for children on the operator's site. See Rhythms of the Night with kids before booking for a family.
Is it cheaper to book direct or on Viator?
It depends on the week: the operator's sale prices can undercut Viator, while Viator offers free cancellation up to 24 hours before and pay-later booking.
Other Viator sellers list the same show for more (from $149 and $153 when we checked), so if you book on Viator, choose the Vallarta Adventures listing. Whichever you use, the fees at check-in are the same.
Same show, lowest Viator price: check your date on the operator's own listing.
Check dates for the sunset dinner show cruiseHow much should a couple budget for the night?
About $285 on the Classic tier with fees, before tips and taxis.
- Two Classic tickets: from $238
- Access fee: $40
- Port fee: MX$80 (a few dollars)
- Tips for crew and waiters: up to you
- Taxi to and from the terminal: short hotel-zone rides
How far ahead should you book?
A few days ahead is usually enough, but book earlier for holiday weeks; the show can host up to 800 guests a night.
Because the ticket cancels free up to 24 hours before, booking early costs you nothing if the weather turns.
